“She left you all alone, just as I was left alone. We have both spent days, months shedding tears over it. No one should have to go through what we have. I’m going to fix things.”⁣

Brighid is one of the prominent characters in the book I’m writing. Obsessive, powerful, but also deeply vulnerable, she is one of the story’s more complex characters. ⁣ All I’ll say is, she isn’t someone you want to annoy, as Dew quickly discovers.⁣

It’s rare I focus purely on my characters, but these drawings are helping me to pin down their final designs ready for when I illustrate the story in future. They’re also fun to paint between the more detailed projects.
